Self-assessment

How does your school care for digital wellbeing?

We invite teachers, school leaders and other school staff to complete the Digi.Well digital wellbeing self-assessment questionnaire. It helps you reflect on how your school supports pupils, staff and the wider school community.

Leadership
Infrastructure and equipment
Policy
Practices

The questionnaire covers four key areas (leadership, infrastructure and equipment, policy and practices) with 19 statements. Completion is anonymous. You can save progress and continue later with a personal link.

After completing the questionnaire you will…

01

Receive a results summary highlighting strengths and opportunities to improve.

02

Access an evaluation rubric with further guidance for each area.

03

Use an action plan to turn insights into concrete steps for digital wellbeing.

Important: the questionnaire is not for grading success, but for awareness and improvement. We recommend using the results as a starting point for collective reflection among staff.

Next step

Action plan

The action plan helps turn your results into clear, practical and time-bound steps across leadership, infrastructure, policy and practice.

Materials

National resources for teachers

National resources for teachers bring together practical materials from partner organisations in Portugal, Serbia and Slovenia. The pack is split into six parts, with a full version available too.

About Digi.Well

The self-assessment tool was developed within the 24-month European Digi.well project, which promotes a whole-school approach to wellbeing in the digital world. The questionnaire is not about grading performance, but about awareness and improvement — supporting schools to create a healthier, safer and more supportive digital environment.
